** Vintage - HEIRLOOM - SILVER-PLATE SET - Service for 12 w CHEST - LONGCHAMPS * Up FOR BID is this GORGEOUS "SILVER-PLATED" FLATWARE that I purchased at an ESTATE SALE over 20 YEARS ago and it has been in storage ever since -- this SILVER-PLATE is in very nice CONDITION -- pieces are EMBOSSED "HEIRLOOM PLATE", which, of course, was MADE by ONEIDA -- this DESIGN of "HEIRLOOM PLATE" was FIRST INTRODUCED back in 1935 -- the "Pattern" is called LONGCHAMPS and it is ALSO known as CHAUMONT and Prestige Plate -- you are BIDDING on a SERVICE for 12 with the ORIGINAL WOODEN STORAGE CHEST with the "HEIRLOOM PLATE" seal -- this SERVICE for 12 INCLUDES: 12 DINNER KNIVES, 12 DINNER FORKS, 12 SALAD FORKS, 12 Bullion SOUP SPOONS, 24 TEASPOONS and 2 Extra Large SERVING SPOONS -- the "SILVER-PLATE" is in VERY NICE, USED CONDITION" but some MAY need cleaning and polishing -- the ORIGINAL WOODEN CHEST is OK for its age but does come with some nicks and scratches from use (STILL NOT ALL THAT BAD for being about 80 years old) or more -- this "SET" weighs about 13 pounds with packing SO there is NO combined shipping with this set *************** WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PICTURE IS WHAT YOU GET!! ++++++++ *******Please see our OTHER AUCTIONS for more UNIQUE and UNUSUAL ITEMS **** My "handling" amounts to about $2 to $4.00 on harder to pack items, which helps defray the cost of packing peanuts and bubble wrap.
