This auction is for a Vintage Chatillons Improved Spring Balance ~ Hanging Scale. It has a very nice Brass Face and measures up to 50lbs. There are patent dates of Jan. 6, 1891, and Jan. 28, 1892. There is a ring at the top for hanging and a hook at the bottom for holding the item to be weighed. Overall, the scale is in very good condition and would display well in your country kitchen or in a farm market. (Accuracy of the scale is not guaranteed)
