Description: An original, antique, copper-plate engraved map of the whole county of Yorkshire, printed on hand laid paper. The map is uncoloured and has a decorative title cartouche and distance scale as well as numerous armorial shields. Cartographer / Engraver: J. Blaeu Provenance: 'Atlas Novus', published in Amsterdam, c.1648 Condition: Very good condition. Uncommon uncoloured example. A few minor marks to the margins, not affecting the printed area.
