Beautiful broad antique (pre-1930) silver bodkin /sewing tool / corset lacer/ ribbon threader, marked Sterling. There is also a number (5181) near the mark, likely to refer to product model? The front is engraved with very flourishing monnogram which appears likely to be an "H" also possibly contains letters "C" or "F". Aproximate length is 2.75 inches. Width is .75 inches at the broadest part. In good condition with expected signs of wear from use. Lovely piece for history and beauty; may be worn as a pendant and is also useful.
